Thermography
Thermography is a special finish which can be added to a wide range of paper products from business cards, to letterheads, invitations etc. The process can only be produced as the printed sheets come off the printing press with the ink still wet.
The thermograph powder sticks to the wet ink and the sheets are passed under a strong heat element which causes the powder to melt giving a raised glossy image. Any ink colour can be used, and the powders can be changed to give many different effects including metallic and glitter effects.
